A gard in the dunes
This photo is from the 1900s.
This is possibly the guard of the dunes that belonged to the descendants of Mr. Foulques-Desmarais.
He was the owner of a 5 km strip of dunes stretching from Le Home-Varaville to the bay of the Orne, and from the road to Dives to the seashore.
The vault, the staircase and the fountain are already there.
